The Mayfair Clip Earrings are a creation by Françoise Montague: a sculptural pair made of metal set with crystal rhinestone washers, handcrafted in our Parisian workshop at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré. They come in three finishes: gold, silver, and two-tone gold and silver.

Can you wear the Mayfair Earrings without having pierced ears?

Yes. The Mayfair Earrings come with an adjustable clip clasp: they are suitable for all ears, pierced or not. The clip adjusts for a secure and comfortable fit, without the need for piercing.

What metal are the Mayfair Earrings made of?

The Mayfair Earrings are made of brass plated with fine 24-carat gold for the gold version, silver-plated for the silver version, and both finishes combined for the two-tone version. The decoration consists of crystal rhinestone washers. Françoise Montague creates haute couture jewelry, made of plated brass and not solid precious metal.

Are the Mayfair Earrings available in multiple colors, and can you create a matching set?

Shipments of pre-order items begin from the date specified on the product page. If your order includes two pre-order items, the package will be shipped once it is complete, based on the latest date.

Delivery in Metropolitan France is handled by DHL Express (24 hours after shipping, Monday to Friday), Colissimo (2-3 days), and internationally with DHL Express (2-5 days) or Colissimo (5-6 days) if your destination is not served by DHL.

Clip-on earrings crafted in Paris since 1945

Each pair is individually assembled in our workshop at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré, just steps from Place Vendôme. Crystal rhinestone washers are sewn one by one onto a metal framework, extending the couture technique passed down in the House since 1945. The hand gives Mayfair its depth and light.

Care
Remove your earrings before sleeping, swimming, showering, or applying perfume. Store them in their case, away from light and humidity. A soft, dry cloth will restore their shine.

Each pair of Mayfair Earrings leaves the boutique in its case, hand-sealed with the Maison's signature wax seal, a gesture borrowed from the codes of private correspondence. For our international customers visiting Paris, tax refund is applied directly in the boutique at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré. Unique expertise since 1945

Our story begins in 1935, with a small jewelry workshop founded by Françoise Montague's mother. Ten years later, in 1945, the brand took the name it is known by today. Very quickly, its style stood out: enameled and iridescent glass beads, unique craftsmanship, and limitless creativity.

Then in 1978, a new chapter, a fresh breath. At just 21 years old, Marion Stern took the reins with the desire to make the house shine even further. A visionary, she explored new horizons and from 1981, Françoise Montague creations flew to Asia, the East, and the West. In 1998, she opened the boutique at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré!

And today? The story continues! In June 2023, I joined the adventure in turn. My name is Rebecca Mamou-Stern and with my engineer’s perspective and all the know-how passed down before me, I bring this beautiful house to life, between heritage and modernity.
