Yes. Each Gabin Sautoir is individually assembled in the Françoise Montague workshop, at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré, Paris 1st arrondissement, just steps from Place Vendôme. The pearls are selected one by one for their quality. This artisanal gesture has been passed down in the House since 1945: each piece is crafted in small series, never in industrial production. It is this rigor that distinguishes a haute couture jewel from a mass-produced necklace.

Can the Gabin Necklace be given as a wedding or birthday gift?

The Gabin Sautoir is one of the most gifted pieces from the House, precisely because it suits all major occasions: weddings, birthdays, births. Its versatility in wear makes it a jewel that will accompany you for decades, not just a season. What is the difference between the ivory version and the multicolor version?

The ivory version of the Gabin Sautoir follows the tradition of great French couture sautoirs: it is simple, timeless, and matches any wardrobe. It is the version for those who want a definitive, heirloom-quality piece of jewelry. The multicolored version is bolder: the colored beads alternate with crystal rondelles for a strong visual presence, ideal as a single strand on a solid background or as a triple strand for evening wear. Shipments within Europe are made with all taxes included. Delivery is handled by DHL Express (2 to 5 days) or Colissimo depending on the destination. A pearl sautoir, three ways to wear it

Worn as a single strand for a clean line, doubled for a denser presence, or tripled for a statement effect: the Gabin changes style with each wrap. Available in ivory or multicolor versions, it joins the Maison’s pearl necklaces and is passed down as naturally as it is worn.

A signature piece of the Maison, crafted in small series. Each order is sealed by hand with our signature wax seal. To see it worn in several ways, make an appointment at the workshop.

Orders are prepared and shipped within 24 to 72 business hours. This timeframe may be extended during periods of high demand, such as holidays, trade shows, or inventory counts.

Shipments of pre-order items begin from the date specified on the product page. If your order includes two pre-order items, the package will be shipped once it is complete, based on the latest date.

Delivery in Metropolitan France is handled by DHL Express (24 hours after shipping, Monday to Friday), Colissimo (2-3 days), and internationally with DHL Express (2-5 days) or Colissimo (5-6 days) if your destination is not served by DHL.

You have a 14-day period from receipt to return an item that does not meet your expectations.

Handmade, 231 Rue Saint-Honoré

Each long necklace is individually assembled in our Parisian workshop, just steps from Place Vendôme. This craft, passed down in the House since 1945, makes the Gabin a signature piece of the workshop.

Composition
Each pearl is chosen for the regularity of its ridge and the quality of its surface. The spacers are made of the highest quality crystal.

Care
Remove the necklace before sleeping, bathing, showering, or applying perfume. Store it lying flat in its case, away from light and humidity. A soft, dry cloth preserves the shine of the pearls and crystal.

Each Gabin Sautoir is delivered in its case, sealed by hand with the Maison's signature wax seal.

For our international customers visiting Paris, tax refund is offered in-store at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré. Shipping is provided DDP, including taxes and customs, to the United States and Gulf countries, and all taxes included within the European Union.

Upon request, our experts welcome you in-store for a styling appointment: an opportunity to see the sautoir worn as a single, double, or triple strand, and to choose between the different versions.

A unique knowledge since 1945

Our story begins in 1935, with a small jewelry workshop founded by Françoise Montague's mother. Ten years later, in 1945, the brand took the name it is known by today. Very quickly, its style stood out: enameled and iridescent glass beads, unique craftsmanship, and limitless creativity.

Then in 1978, a new chapter, a new breath. At just 21 years old, Marion Stern took the reins with the desire to make the house shine even further. A visionary, she explored new horizons and from 1981, Françoise Montague creations flew to Asia, the East, and the West. In 1998, she opened the boutique at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré!

And today? The story continues! In June 2023, I joined the adventure in turn. My name is Rebecca Mamou-Stern and with my engineer’s perspective and all the know-how passed down before me, I bring this beautiful house to life, between heritage and modernity.
