The Panthère Necklace is a creation of the Maison Françoise Montague, handmade in the Parisian workshop at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré. A statement piece adorned with the panther motif, a symbol of boldness and emancipation in French haute couture, it is made with pearl beads on gold-plated metal. Available in two colors (Pearl White, Champagne Pearls), each piece is produced in a very limited series from our Parisian workshop.

Yes. Each piece is made in the Françoise Montague workshop, at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré, Paris 1st arrondissement, just steps from Place Vendôme. The metal is plated by a specialized Parisian gilding artisan. The pearl beads are individually selected for their shine. This artisanal know-how has been passed down in the House without interruption since 1945.

The Pearl White color offers a strong contrast and an immediate shine: it is worn on dark shades for a sharp signature effect. How to wear it

Orders are prepared and shipped within 24 to 72 business hours. This timeframe may be extended during periods of high demand, such as holidays, trade shows, or inventory counts.

The Panthère Necklace is handcrafted in our workshop at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré, Paris, where Françoise Montague has been creating haute couture jewelry since 1945. Produced in a very limited series, it is not reproduced identically: each piece carries the precision of a gesture that is never repeated.

Composition
String of pearly glass beads, central panther motif in 24-carat gold-plated brass, crystal rhinestone highlights. Available in pearly white beads or champagne pearly beads.

Care
Remove your necklace before sleeping, bathing, or applying perfume, as perfume can dull the shine of the pearly beads. Store it in its case, away from light and humidity, and occasionally wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.

Each necklace is prepared in its case, hand-sealed with the Maison's signature wax seal, a gesture borrowed from the codes of private correspondence. For our international customers visiting Paris, tax refund is applied in-store at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré.

Internationally, our prices include taxes and customs duties (DDP) for the United States and Gulf countries, and are all taxes included for the European Union.

A unique knowledge since 1945

Our story begins in 1935, with a small jewelry workshop founded by Françoise Montague's mother. Ten years later, in 1945, the brand took the name it is known by today. Very quickly, its style stood out: enameled and iridescent glass beads, unique craftsmanship, and limitless creativity.

Then in 1978, a new chapter, a new breath. At just 21 years old, Marion Stern took the reins with the desire to make the house shine even further. A visionary, she explored new horizons and from 1981, Françoise Montague creations flew to Asia, the East, and the West. In 1998, she opened the boutique at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré!

And today? The story continues! In June 2023, I joined the adventure in turn. My name is Rebecca Mamou-Stern and with my engineer’s perspective and all the know-how passed down before me, I bring this beautiful house to life, between heritage and modernity.
