An evening presence

On the skin, against a black silk low-cut dress or a simple bustier, the Chevalier Necklace draws the gaze. Designed to be paired with its matching Chevalier earrings, it dresses the important dinners and formal evenings.

Each order leaves the workshop in its case, sealed by hand with our signature wax seal. Tax-free shopping is offered in-store to our international customers visiting Paris. Make an appointment at the workshop to discover the piece.

Orders are prepared and shipped within 24 to 72 business hours. This timeframe may be extended during periods of high demand, such as holidays, trade shows, or inventory counts.

Shipments of pre-order items begin from the date specified on the product page. If your order includes two pre-order items, the package will be shipped once it is complete, based on the latest date.

Delivery in Metropolitan France is handled by DHL Express (24 hours after shipping, Monday to Friday), Colissimo (2-3 days), and internationally with DHL Express (2-5 days) or Colissimo (5-6 days) if your destination is not served by DHL.

Glass paste is at the heart of the Maison's expertise. For the Chevalier Necklace, each drop is hand-poured: the molten glass receives the color and gold leaf, then solidifies into a dense and luminous material. Our artisans then assemble the elements on their structure, adjust the volumes, and set the necklace length for a perfect drape. The metal structure is gilded with 24-carat gold by a Parisian specialist in gilding. No step is mechanized: the piece is handled by hand from start to finish.

COMPOSITION
Drops in hand-cast glass paste, streaked with gold leaf flakes. Françoise Montague creates haute couture jewelry. The washers are made of crystal.

CARE
Remove the necklace before sleeping, bathing, showering, or applying perfume. Store it in its case, away from light and humidity. A soft, dry cloth is enough to restore its shine.

Each Chevalier Necklace leaves the workshop in its case, hand-sealed with the Maison's signature wax seal, a gesture borrowed from the codes of private correspondence.

For our international customers visiting Paris, tax refund is applied in-store at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré. Internationally, prices include taxes and customs duties in DDP for the United States and Gulf countries, and are all taxes included for the European Union.

A unique knowledge since 1945

Our story begins in 1935, with a small jewelry workshop founded by Françoise Montague's mother. Ten years later, in 1945, the brand took the name it is known by today. Very quickly, its style stood out: enameled and iridescent glass beads, unique craftsmanship, and limitless creativity.

Then in 1978, a new chapter, a new breath. At just 21 years old, Marion Stern took the reins with the desire to make the house shine even further. A visionary, she explored new horizons and from 1981, Françoise Montague creations flew to Asia, the East, and the West. In 1998, she opened the boutique at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré!

And today? The story continues! In June 2023, I joined the adventure in turn. My name is Rebecca Mamou-Stern and with my engineer’s perspective and all the know-how passed down before me, I bring this beautiful house to life, between heritage and modernity.
