Yes. The clip clasp of the Baron Earrings is hand-adjusted in our workshop at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré, set for a comfortable and durable hold, neither too tight to compress the earlobe nor too loose to slip off. The Barons are suitable for all ears, pierced or not. For particularly sensitive ears, a private appointment at the boutique at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré allows you to try the clip before purchase and adjust the tightness if necessary.

What is the difference between the four colors of the Baron Earrings?

The Les Baron come in four colors, each with its own personality. The turquoise (blue-green nacre pearl on gold metal) catches the light with a strong presence, ideal on a neutral background or dark outfit. The white pearl on gold metal is the most timeless version, matching any wardrobe, from everyday wear to special occasions. The coral on gold metal is a bold chromatic statement, enough to carry an outfit without any other jewelry. The black trimetal (dark cabochon, silver and gold rhinestones) plays with contrast and depth, making it the perfect evening version. All share the same level of artisanal craftsmanship, the same diameter of 2.5 cm, and the same weight of 14 g per earring.

Are the Baron Earrings entirely handmade in Paris?

Yes. Each pair of Baron Earrings is assembled in our workshop at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré, Paris 1st arrondissement, just steps from Place Vendôme. The work involves precise sewing: each crystal rhinestone washer is placed one by one, its alignment checked by hand, its hold controlled. The brass is gilded with 24-carat fine gold by a Parisian specialist in gilding, a process distinct from simple industrial electroplating. The clip clasp is individually adjusted. Nothing in this process is mechanized: the consistency of the result depends solely on the mastery of the gesture, passed down in the House since 1945.

Can the Baron Earrings be given as a gift for a birthday or Mother's Day?

The Barons are one of the most gifted pieces from the House, precisely because they combine three rare qualities for a gift: an immediate visual presence (the cabochon is identifiable from a distance), universal accessibility (the clip fits all ears, no piercing needed), and an entry price to the House (275 EUR) that makes it a natural introduction to the Françoise Montague universe. The tax refund service is offered in-store at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré, Paris 1st arrondissement, for any customer residing outside the European Union, including customers from the United States, Gulf countries, and Eastern Europe staying in Paris. International shipments are handled DDP (taxes and customs included) to the United States and Gulf countries: no surprise fees upon receipt. For the European Union, prices include all taxes. Each pair of cabochon earrings is individually assembled in our Parisian workshop, just steps from Place Vendôme. The cabochon is surrounded by rhinestone washers and mounted on 24-carat gold-plated metal, following the couture technique the House has passed down since 1945. A signature piece of the workshop, made in small series.

The contrast, from day to night

With a black turtleneck, an open white shirt, or a flowing dress, the Baron Earrings are enough to hold the look. Their clip fastening makes them accessible to all ears, pierced or not. They are also chosen to explore our other House earrings and create your own wardrobe.

Orders are prepared and shipped within 24 to 72 business hours. This timeframe may be extended during periods of high demand, such as holidays, trade shows, or inventory counts.

Delivery in Metropolitan France is handled by DHL Express (24 hours after shipping, Monday to Friday), Colissimo (2-3 days), and internationally with DHL Express (2-5 days) or Colissimo (5-6 days) if your destination is not served by DHL.

Care
Remove your earrings before sleeping, bathing, showering, or applying perfume. Store them in their case, away from light and humidity. A soft, dry cloth revives the shine of the cabochon and crystals.

Each pair of Baron earrings is delivered to you in its case, hand-sealed with the Maison's signature wax seal, a gesture borrowed from the codes of private correspondence.

For our international customers visiting Paris, tax refund is applied in-store at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré. Internationally, our prices include taxes and customs duties on a DDP basis for the United States and Gulf countries, and are all taxes included for the European Union.

A unique knowledge since 1945

Our story begins in 1935, with a small jewelry workshop founded by Françoise Montague's mother. Ten years later, in 1945, the brand took the name it is known by today. Very quickly, its style stood out: enameled and iridescent glass beads, unique craftsmanship, and limitless creativity.

Then in 1978, a new chapter, a new breath. At just 21 years old, Marion Stern took the reins with the desire to make the house shine even further. A visionary, she explored new horizons and from 1981, Françoise Montague creations flew to Asia, the East, and the West. In 1998, she opened the boutique at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré!

And today? The story continues! In June 2023, I joined the adventure in turn. My name is Rebecca Mamou-Stern and with my engineer’s perspective and all the know-how passed down before me, I bring this beautiful house to life, between heritage and modernity.
