What characterizes the Avenue earrings?

The Avenue earrings stand out for a fascinating artisanal technique: the glass paste is poured directly into the flame within a copper setting. This metal is specifically chosen for its ability to withstand the extreme heat of the pouring process. The creation is then delicately gilded with fine gold to perfect its shine.

Why copper and not brass?

Copper withstands the temperatures required for flame glass casting better. It is then gilded with fine gold by a master gilder from Paris.

Is there an Avenue long necklace?

Yes. The Avenue Sautoir extends this signature in a long format, to be worn as a necklace, double loop, or belt.

Are all colors always available?

Since the glass paste is flame-cast, some shades are produced in very limited series. The colors do not necessarily repeat

Does the House offer gift wrapping?

Yes. Each piece is delivered in a signature case sealed by hand with our red wax seal.

Service

A soft light nestled in the ear, a pearl that rests its roundness on movement. The Avenue Earrings, made of nacre pearl and glass paste, are worn as a natural choice, from the office to dinner. Refinement doesn't need flashy sparkle to be noticed.

A discreet presence, in every season

The white pearl brightens the complexion, the gray one softens contrasts. On an open collar, the Avenue earrings accompany both simple days and formal occasions. The same art of flowing glass is found in the other glass paste creations from the workshop.

Each order leaves the workshop in its case, sealed by hand with our signature wax seal. Tax refund is offered in-store, at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré, to our international clientele visiting Paris. A piece to discover also in-store.

Orders are prepared and shipped within 24 to 72 business hours. This timeframe may be extended during periods of high demand, such as holidays, trade shows, or inventory counts.

Shipments of pre-order items begin from the date specified on the product page. If your order includes two pre-order items, the package will be shipped once it is complete, based on the latest date.

Delivery in Metropolitan France is handled by DHL Express (24 hours after shipping, Monday to Friday), Colissimo (2-3 days), and internationally with DHL Express (2-5 days) or Colissimo (5-6 days) if your destination is not served by DHL.

You have a 14-day period from receipt to return an item that does not meet your expectations.

For deliveries outside Metropolitan France, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Glass paste is the signature gesture of this piece. In our workshop at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré, the glass is heated to a high temperature and then hand-poured into copper, a material chosen for its heat resistance. Each dome cools slowly, reveals itself, and then receives its pearly bead. The metal is then gilded with 24-carat fine gold by a Parisian gilding specialist. No step is mechanized: the hand decides the material, volume, and light.

Composition
Hand-cast pâte de verre cap on copper with 24-carat gold plating. Pearly bead, white or gray depending on the variant. Dormeuse clasp for pierced ears.

Care
Remove your earrings before sleeping, bathing, or applying perfume. Store them in their case, away from light and humidity. A soft, dry cloth is enough to restore their shine.

Each pair leaves the workshop in its case, hand-sealed with the Maison's signature wax seal, inherited from the codes of private correspondence. Tax refund is applied in-store at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré, for our international clientele visiting Paris.

Internationally, shipping is done DDP, including taxes and customs, to the United States and Gulf countries, and including VAT for the European Union.

A unique knowledge since 1945

Our story begins in 1935, with a small jewelry workshop founded by Françoise Montague's mother. Ten years later, in 1945, the brand took the name it is known by today. Very quickly, its style stood out: enameled and iridescent glass beads, unique craftsmanship, and limitless creativity.

Then in 1978, a new chapter, a new breath. At just 21 years old, Marion Stern took the reins with the desire to make the house shine even further. A visionary, she explored new horizons and from 1981, Françoise Montague creations flew to Asia, the East, and the West. In 1998, she opened the boutique at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré!

And today? The story continues! In June 2023, I joined the adventure in turn. My name is Rebecca Mamou-Stern and with my engineer’s perspective and all the know-how passed down before me, I bring this beautiful house to life, between heritage and modernity.
