What are Françoise Montague's Renaissance earrings?
The Renaissance earrings are a creation of the Maison Françoise Montague, handmade in the Parisian workshop at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré. Character pieces designed to enhance a silhouette, they are made of plated metal, using artisanal craftsmanship passed down since 1945. Each pair is produced in small individual series because nothing here is standardized.
Are the Renaissance earrings handmade in Paris?
Yes. Each pair is crafted in the Françoise Montague workshop at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré, Paris 1st arrondissement, just steps from Place Vendôme. The gilding is done by a specialized Parisian artisan gilder. This artisanal expertise has been passed down in the House since 1945, without interruption. This is not a marketing promise: it is the reality of a gesture that spans generations.
Are they suitable for non-pierced ears?
Yes. The Renaissance earrings are available as clip-ons. They can be worn without piercing, with comfort suitable for extended wear throughout a day or evening.
Can the Renaissance earrings be given as a gift?
Yes, absolutely. Each pair is presented in a Françoise Montague case, hand-sealed with our wax seal, a ceremonial gesture that makes every gift a memorable moment. The wax seal turns each package into a precious object even before it is opened.
Does La Maison Françoise Montague ship Renaissance earrings internationally?
Yes. The Maison offers international shipping with prices including taxes and customs duties (DDP) to the United States and Gulf countries. The tax refund service is available in-store at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré for any customer residing outside the European Union. For clients wishing to confirm the availability of an item before their stay in Paris, a private appointment or reservation can be requested by email at contact@francoisemontague.com.

Unique expertise since 1945

The house of Françoise Montague was founded in 1945, heir to a Parisian jewelry workshop passed down by her mother. Françoise's style quickly became distinctive and recognizable: enameled and iridescent glass beads, unique craftsmanship, and boundless creativity. Within a few years, the house made a name for itself among lovers of characterful jewelry, staying true to a standard that has never wavered.

In 1978, a new chapter began. At just twenty-one years old, Marion Stern took the reins with the ambition to take the house even further. A visionary, she explored new territories and forged connections beyond borders: as early as 1981, Françoise Montague’s creations reached Asia, the Middle East, and the West. In 1998, she took a decisive step by opening the boutique at 231 rue Saint-Honoré, in the heart of Paris’s fashion and luxury district.

Today, the story continues. In June 2023, I joined the adventure in turn. My name is Rebecca Mamou-Stern, and with my engineer’s perspective and all the expertise passed down before me, I bring this house to life, between heritage and modernity. Every creation that leaves the workshop extends this story and writes it a little further.
