A cascade of aquatic light that rests at the hollow of the neck. The Chevalier Necklace, a choker made of hand-poured glass paste, is not worn to complement an outfit: it commands it. It is the piece that catches the eye before anything else.

An evening presence

On the skin, against a black silk low-cut dress or a simple bustier, the Chevalier Necklace draws the gaze. Designed to be paired with its matching Chevalier earrings, it dresses up important dinners and formal evenings.

Each order leaves the workshop in its case, sealed by hand with our signature wax seal. Tax-free shopping is offered in-store to our international customers visiting Paris. Make an appointment at the workshop to discover the piece.

Glass paste is at the heart of the Maison's expertise. For the Collier Chevalier, each drop is hand-poured: the molten glass receives the color and gold leaf, then solidifies into a dense and luminous material. Our artisans then assemble the elements on their structure, adjust the volumes, and set the necklace length for a perfect fit. The metal structure is gilded with 24-carat gold by a Parisian gilding specialist. No step is mechanized: the hand carries the piece from start to finish.

COMPOSITION
Hand-poured glass paste drops, streaked with gold leaf flakes. Françoise Montague creates haute couture jewelry. The washers are made of crystal.

CARE
Remove the necklace before sleeping, bathing, showering, or applying perfume. Store it in its case, away from light and humidity. A soft, dry cloth is enough to restore its shine.

Orders are prepared and shipped within 2 to 5 business days (extended during high demand periods, trade shows, or inventory). Pre-order items are shipped from the date indicated on the product page; if the order includes two pre-order items, the package is sent once complete (the latest date).
Mainland France: Colissimo 13H (next-day delivery, Monday to Friday) or standard Colissimo (2 to 3 business days). International: Colissimo International or DHL Express, your choice (4 to 8 business days estimated depending on the carrier). Unique expertise since 1945

Our story begins in 1935, with a small jewelry workshop founded by Françoise Montague’s mother. Ten years later, in 1945, the brand took the name it is known by today. Very quickly, its style stood out: enameled and iridescent glass beads, unique craftsmanship, and limitless creativity.

Then in 1978, a new chapter, a fresh breath. At just 21 years old, Marion Stern took the reins with the desire to make the house shine even further. A visionary, she explored new horizons and by 1981, Françoise Montague’s creations were flying to Asia, the East, and the West. In 1998, she opened the boutique at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré!

And today? The story continues! In June 2023, I joined the adventure in turn. My name is Rebecca Mamou-Stern, and with my engineer’s perspective and all the expertise passed down before me, I bring this beautiful house to life, between heritage and modernity.
