Archive
The Archive brings together Françoise Montague pieces that are no longer produced but have marked the history of the Maison. It is the catalogue’s memorial space.
The trace of what once was
Every Archive piece was once part of our collections. Each accompanied an era, carried an intention, and engaged with a season. When the atelier decides to discontinue a piece, it enters the Archive, where it remains available for consultation.
Understanding the Maison
The Archive is one of the most interesting ways to understand the Maison’s vocabulary. Here, you can see the motifs that established its iconic pieces, the materials it explored, the directions it pursued, and those it abandoned.
An archive piece may return
Occasionally, an Archive piece is reactivated at a client’s request or reworked in a new direction. The atelier preserves its memory so that it can sometimes be brought back to life.
