The Simba Earrings are handmade in gold-plated metal at our workshop on 231 Rue Saint-Honoré since 1945. Measuring 6 cm long and weighing only 14.7 g, they make a statement without feeling heavy. Each pair is signed on the back by the Maison, guaranteeing an artisanal touch, not mass production. Comfortable clip-on fastening, suitable for all ears, pierced or not.

Are the Simba Earrings really handmade in Paris?

Yes. Each pair is handmade and assembled in the Francoise Montague workshop, located at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré, Paris 1st arrondissement. The metal is gold-plated by a specialist Parisian gilder artisan, using craftsmanship passed down through generations. The signature on the back of each pair guarantees this artisanal production.

Can Simba Earrings be worn without pierced ears?

Yes. The Simba Earrings feature a clip attachment, suitable for all ears, pierced or not. The clip supports the jewelry without stretching the earlobe, a real advantage for a 6 cm piece. It fits comfortably and can be removed as easily as a classic sleeper earring.

Can the Simba Earrings be paired with other Francoise Montague pieces?

Yes. Each pair is delivered in its case, hand-sealed with the Maison’s wax seal. Tax refund is applied in-store for our international clientele, and our experts welcome you at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré for a styling appointment upon request.

Handcrafted, 231 Rue Saint-Honoré

Our Parisian workshop assembles each pair individually, following the couture tradition it has upheld since 1945. Depending on the chosen variant, the chains are plated with 24-carat fine gold, silver-plated, or combine both finishes in a two-tone design. A signature of the House, conceived as a demanding limited series.

Brass metal, plated with 24-carat fine gold for the gold variant, rhodium plated for the silver variant, and a combination of both finishes for the two-tone variant. Washers set with crystal rhinestones. Clip clasp.

Keep your Simba Earrings in their case, away from light and humidity. Remove them before sleeping, showering, and swimming. A soft cloth is enough to restore the shine of the plating.

Orders are prepared and shipped within 2 to 5 business days (extended during high demand periods, trade shows, or inventory). Pre-order items are shipped from the date indicated on the product page; if the order includes two pre-order items, the package is sent once complete (the latest date).
Mainland France: Colissimo 13H (next-day delivery, Monday to Friday) or standard Colissimo (2 to 3 business days). International: Colissimo International or DHL Express, your choice (4 to 8 business days estimated depending on the carrier). Free shipping in mainland France for orders over €300, and worldwide for orders over €1500. For the United States and Gulf countries, the price is all-inclusive (DDP): no customs fees upon receipt.

Unique expertise since 1945

Our story begins in 1935, with a small jewelry workshop founded by Françoise Montague’s mother. Ten years later, in 1945, the brand took the name it is known by today. Very quickly, its style stood out: enameled and iridescent glass beads, unique craftsmanship, and limitless creativity.

Then in 1978, a new chapter, a fresh breath. At just 21 years old, Marion Stern took the reins with the desire to make the house shine even further. A visionary, she explored new horizons and by 1981, Françoise Montague’s creations were flying to Asia, the East, and the West. In 1998, she opened the boutique at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré!

And today? The story continues! In June 2023, I joined the adventure in turn. My name is Rebecca Mamou-Stern, and with my engineer’s perspective and all the expertise passed down before me, I bring this beautiful house to life, between heritage and modernity.
